Agency and Community Plans

The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) publishes several plans that guide the agency’s activities and are filed in accordance with local and federal reporting requirements. The agency also prepares plans on behalf of the City of San Diego.

SDHC Finance Plan to Expand Affordable Housing

In 2009, SDHC launched an innovative finance plan to leverage the equity of its existing properties to create additional affordable housing.

The plan envisions boosting the agency’s portfolio of multifamily rental housing by more than 800 units over the next five years.

Moving Forward

A 12 month plan beginning July 1, 2009 describing the initiatives SDHC intends to implement in the Rental Assistance Department using the flexibility offered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to SDHC.

A plan that establishes local policies for operation of the Public Housing program in the context of federal laws and regulations.

SDHC Affordable Housing Fund Plan

An annual plan that outlines an overall strategy for the use of the Affordable Housing Fund.
