Participating Lenders

 Special Notice 

Effective September 30, 2011 the deferred loan program was changed from a Shared Appreciation Loan to a 3% Interest Deferred Payment Loan.  Please refer to the 3% Interest Deferred payment Loan Program Guidelines and Program manual below for complete details. 

 Become a Participating Lender 

To become a participating lender for the Citywide First-time Homebuyer Program you must:

  1.  Submit a Lender Participation Agreement.
  2. Attend a Housing Commission training seminar.
  3. Submit the original signed participation agreement along with a copy of your California Department of Corporations License Certificate or Department of Real Estate License Certificate.
  4. Pay a $400 annual fee.
  5. Mail the documents and payment to: San Diego Housing Commission, Attn. Loan Management, 1122 Broadway, Suite 300, San Diego, CA 92101. You may also submit your certification package in person at the above address, or via e-mail to lenderparticipation@sdhc.org.

 

 Submitting Loan Packages 

Instructions for Submitting Loan Packages: 

Loan packages must be submitted as an original hard copy. All documents must be signed and submitted in the requested order.

Prior to submitting loan packages for underwriting, lenders should check the Housing Commission website for updates on loan documents, available funds or program changes.
